Unlike the original skill, this transfigured version has a slower cast time, less damage and damage effectiveness, and higher mana cost, but explodes corpses in an accelerating chain reaction like a weaker version of Vaal Detonate Dead.
Detonating one corpse can trigger nearby corpses to chain-explode too.
