Static Strike of Gathering Lightning is a melee strike attack skill that deals physical and lightning damage and gain Gathering Lightning on hit. Gathering Lightning causes Static Strike to unleash a beam of lightning that can chain to nearby enemies, dealing more damage and increasing the chain count per stack of Gathering Lightning. This transfigured version of the skill works differently from the original. Instead of its original effect, the skill grants Gathering Lightning whenever you deal a melee hit with the attack. Gathering Lightning causes Static Strike of Gathering Lightning to unleash a single chaining lightning beam on melee hit, and the damage of the beam and the number of chains increases with the number of stacks of Gathering Lightning.
The lightning beacon builds in strength the longer it stays active.
