Summon Chaos Golem of the Maelström is a minion spell, summoning a Golem that can use an empowered chaos damage over time aura in addition to its melee attack. Unlike the original skill, this transfigured version does not provide a chaos resistance and dot multi buff. It also cannot use its cascade skill and uses an empowered version of its Chaos Sandstorm that deals more chaos damage over time, has a larger area of effect, and applies Withered to enemies in its area of effect.
The golem whips up a damaging maelstrom around itself instead of just buffing your mitigation.
